Who we are

Webrocket is the international brand of Webraketen, a web agency founded in Gothenburg in 2024. The same team runs webraketen.se, which builds fixed-price websites for Swedish small businesses.

Christoffer is the founder and lead developer, and covers code, design and the business side. He works with AI as a pair programmer: AI writes the first drafts of code and copy, and Christoffer leads the work, reviews everything and checks the quality before anything reaches you. Strategy, design and the final review are done by hand.

Where we are

Gothenburg, Sweden. We have no office, address or phone number in the UAE, and we do not pretend to. Our phone number is Swedish: +46 31 373 51 11.

How does remote delivery work?

The process is the same as for our Swedish customers.

1. Call, day 1. We talk for 30 minutes by video. You tell us what the site should do and who it is for. Within 24 hours you get a fixed-price quote by email.
2. Sketch. We draw how the pages will look. No code is written until you have said yes, because changes cost least at this stage.
3. Build. The build lives in a shared preview link. You see what has happened since yesterday, every day.
4. Review. We go through every page, text and link ourselves before anything goes live.
5. Live, day 14. We move the domain, set up search tools and hand over a maintenance checklist. The site is yours. We look after it if you want us to.

Which hours do we overlap with the UAE?

The UAE is on UTC+4 all year. Sweden is on UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer. That puts us 3 hours behind the UAE in winter and 2 hours behind in summer, so most of the UAE working day overlaps with ours.

Which language do we work in?

We work with you in English. Christoffer also speaks Swedish. The sites we build for the UAE are written in English.

How does payment work?

Prices are in AED and exclude VAT. The website is paid in two parts: 50% when you accept the quote and 50% when the site goes live. You never pay the full amount in advance to a company you have not worked with before. We invoice from our Swedish business, and there is no card checkout on this site. All prices are on pricing.

Why do we need your TRN?

We only work with businesses in the UAE that are registered for VAT and have a Tax Registration Number (TRN). When a VAT-registered business in the UAE buys services from a supplier abroad, the business accounts for the VAT itself under the reverse charge mechanism. Your TRN goes on our invoice so that this works. Without a TRN, we would have to register for VAT in the UAE ourselves before invoicing you, which we have not done.

If your business does not have a TRN, we cannot take on the project yet.

What stays the same as in Sweden?

Fixed price before we start, no overtime, no unexpected invoices. You own everything we deliver once it is paid in full: code, design and copy. Our full terms are on the terms page, and how we handle personal data is on the privacy page.
